He holds a bachelor’s degree in African American studies from Rutgers University and earned two master’s degrees, in social sciences and education. Timothy specializes in creating positive and supportive learning environments for students to help them overcome barriers and reach their goals.

For Richard, the highlight of his career has been teaching and mentoring students. Whether it is in the classroom or taking students on extracurricular trips to serve the community, Richard finds great reward in his role as a Job Corps instructor.

is a Clinical Medical Assistant instructor at Brooklyn Job Corps Center. She has professional experience as a medical assistant and phlebotomist in a variety of specialties, as well as prior teaching experience at a community college. She holds an associate degree in medical assisting and received training from Stone Academy for licensed practical nursing. Janet enjoys the diversity that Job Corps offers and the opportunity to impart her experience to her students.

Originally from Nigeria, he earned his bachelor’s degree while living there and later earned his master’s degree in science education at City University of New York’s College of Staten Island and a doctorate in higher education leadership at Nova Southeastern University. Ayo has experience as a New York City public school teacher and college professor, and now uses this experience to serve Job Corps students.

brings over 30 years of security industry experience to his role as a Homeland Security instructor at Brooklyn Job Corps Center. He holds an Associate of Occupational Studies degree in security management and worked in several instructor roles before joining the Job Corps team. Cosmin’s passion is helping young adults succeed in life, which he is able to live out daily as a Job Corps instructor.

, a Brooklyn native, has been a teacher for over 10 years, from elementary schools to universities and now Brooklyn Job Corps Center, where she serves as the Career Transition Readiness instructor. Carol believes her purpose in life is to help others, which she is able to do every day as a teacher, assisting students in finding their future careers.
